ABOUT THE WHITE MUSES
WHITE MUSES BY ELENA LIRI
The group consists of Elena Liri on percussion and vocals, Teresa Harania on guitar and vocals and Matina Marinou on
guitar and vocals.
All three are certified, trained musicians of a high educational level.
Their music is inspired by all those distant and dreamy corners of the world; their repertoire is sung in at least seven languages, highlighting the harmony and melodiousness of their voices.
For the explosiveness of the percussion and guitar they have chosen mainly the pulsating rhythm of Rock n Roll, but also the freedom and theatrics of the bright and danceable Pop of the 80’s.
Outfitted with beautiful songs, strong influences from Latin, Jazz, Funk, Disco and the Greek repertoire as well, orchestrated with imagination and feminine energy, the daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne, i.e. intellect and memory, cultivate and indulge the soul and raise the mind into heavenly spheres.

Amazing Band
We had the absolute pleasure of Elena and her band play at our wedding in Zakynthos this summer and could not have been happier. With their mix of traditional Zakynthos music mixed with funk and soul classics, they had the guests dancing all night long.
Particularly, it was so wonderful that they allowed our 14 year daughter to sing with them for a couple of songs.
