White Muses, is a female ensemble of vocals, percussion and guitar, created by musicologist Elena Liri in the summer of 2019 on the island of Zakynthos. The group consists of Elena Liri on percussion and vocals, Teresa Harania on guitar and vocals and Matina Marinou on guitar and vocals.
Three women, certified professional musicians of a high educational level, who with their harmony and explosiveness express the freedom and strength of the ensemble, without losing their individuality in the process.
Their main characteristics are counterpoints of three melodic lines and dynamic rhythm.
Three voices with different timbres give a perfect harmonious result as a whole.
Elena Liri is a musicologist of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, specializing in music technology, with five
conservatory degrees, one diploma and five specializations.
Teresa Harania is a teacher of singing and classical guitar graduate and Matina Marinou has studied guitar and music theory at Music Theory ABRSM Royal Academy of London, as well as at singing seminars with Natassa Bofiliou.
Their music is inspired by all those distant and dreamy corners of the world, since they sing in at least seven languages, playing with the senses and stirring up rhythms of Latin, Disco, Funk, Jazz, Pop, Rock, Rock’n’roll, as well as Greek repertoire.
Like the three muses of antiquity, they uphold their name and become patrons of the fine arts, taking you to magical places, offering an experience full of relaxation.
